CANVAS GICLÉE PRICE LIST
WHAT CAN BE PRINTED - These prices are for digital files that are ready to print. Original paintings need to be digitally captured and proofed first. 4x5 and 35m transparencies for printing need to be scanned and proofed first. CANVAS PRINT INFO - Prices in the chart are for un-stretched archival giclée canvas prints. See the last column for stretching. All prints are protected with three coats of an archival, water and UV protective finish. Surfaces include gloss, matt and semi-matt. Stretching fees include medium and heavy-duty stretcher bars on larger prints. All stretched is done in a gallery wrap style with staples on the back, not the sides. This makes it possible to hang stretched prints without a frame. These prints should last more than 100 years.
HOW TO DETERMINE THE COST OF YOUR PRINTS -Prices are based on the image area of your work only - all prints include a 1.5" - 3" border for stretching. For example, a 16x20 print with a 1.5" border all around would actually be 19" x 23". Measure the width times the height of your original to get the total square inches of your painting. Multiply that number by .32 to get your first print price. The price per print goes down the more you order. Use the following chart to get pricing for common sizes. Use the cost per square inch at the top of each column to determine what multiple prints will cost. Remember to add stretching to your print cost totals.
