About
Artopia Giclee is a full service, Giclee art reproduction service for artists, galleries and museums located just north of Boston in Melrose, Massachusetts. Artopia Giclee is owned by Steve Gyurina, a photographer with twenty years experience photographing fine art.
Paintings of practically any size can be digitally photographed at the studio using a special capture technique that brings out the fine surface details and brushstrokes of oil paintings. Reproductions created by the studio from these capture files have an amazing three-dimensional quality.
In addition to standard color-matching tools, the studio uses a unique manual matching system for certain tricky colors often present in many paintings.
Prints up to 44" x 80" can be made on a variety of archival, fine art papers or canvas at the studio on our Epson pigment ink printer.
Other types of output from the digital capture files created at the studio can also be provided, including files for websites and advertising.
Complete gallery submission packages including a portfolio on CD, custom CD cover and imprinting, mailing labels, business cards and other materials can also be created.
For more details, please give Steve a call. The number at the studio is 781-665-1122.

"The key to exceptional reproduction of your art is to find a printer who also has a great deal of experience photographing art - which is an art in itself. I've photographed thousands of different kinds of paintings over the years and learned how to deal with difficult work - in fact I specialized in doing so. Art reproduction printing is complicated, but I found that my photography experience has helped tremendously. I knew how to capture paintings on film - paper and canvas were simply the next logical step".
